A little electrical tape mock up. This bike is going to get done one time
Seat brackets to come.
Thanks for looking

Very comfy looking geometry.:D

(Disclaimer: I've never build a comfy rat bike so this is only speculation.):wink1:
Only the best riding position for me
Seat will come forward a little ;)

The famous Skipton stretch position.

It's like the racing position for touring bikes just tipped back a little so you can see where you're going without craning your neck.

Carl.

The saddle position reminds me of the slingshot style dragsters. The engine was in the front and the driver sat a bit behind the rear axle.

Got the fender tire clearance all dialed in. And fender position set.
Then on to getting rid of the ugly cantilever brake posts on the fork.

Some more poor basement workspace photos. This is how it’s going to sit tell next week.. Driving a thousand miles starting Thursday to take my oldest to college (Northeastern University) in Boston. Next week it’s lots of coffee and midnight oil to finish the bike... How about those late 80s early 90’s Campagnolo brake levers!? Going to see if I can make those work with the disk brakes. Bike looks rough now but I see my vision taking shape.;)
Thanks again for looking and all the support.

Love the fat campy levers!
You'll pull it off before the deadline.
Safe travels to Boston!
