I saw this bike at the bike co op a while ago. It is a 1980s Schwinn Voyageur 11.8.

    Where do I start?
    Painted everything
    Cheap front derailleur and freewheel
90s mountain bike 8 speed rear derailleur
3x 90s mountain bike crank set
    A dent in the toptube
    Fixie wheels
The bars and shifters are not bad.

The best part is the re spaced flip flop hub with a 5 speed freewheel (The bike is meant for a 6 speed cassette) that is waaaaay off dish.

This bike would be best off with all the parts and the frame sold separately.

Here is what this bike would have looked like when new.

Where to start? I think you should have started with the lady's Hawthorne in the background instead!:p
Ugh, they even painted the front derailleur and chainring.

That actually looks like a decent frameset. By the looks of it I would suspect a ZZR/Romet/Universal Jaguar. A cool racing legend from Poland.

Buuut... I could be wrong and it could be another cool frameset :21:

I thought you were talking about the purple bike, which is a Schwinn Voyageur 11.8. The orange bike is a Kobe Chaparral. It had a crack in the seattube.
The orange bike is also Japanese.

Looks a lot like the Jaguar. But it's nothing new that ZZR/Romet copied a lot of parts from foreign manufacturers. There even was a guy who copied Campagnolo Nuovo Record deraillreurs soo good that it's very hard to tell the difference.

Someone bought this bike and he is going to put an 11 speed cassette wheel on the back and a single front chainring.
