This came home today. Owner said it was a '74 Huffy, but was bought at Sears. Not sure, and not sure with the SerNo means as far as verifying the year. It's got gold underneath the spray bomb. I'd like to find out exactly what it is and what year so I can see what it originally looked like and maybe take it back to that.

Neat bike! I think that Huffy serial numbers are always 7H or 7C for the Huffy made bikes. The Sears sold bikes might be different. I will check some catalog ads and see if I can find something.

I looked at some Sears stuff online and their bikes start with "47" in the catalogs, but I didn't see one that was 47441.

Try to find what year they changed the rims from the Huffy rims to the newer kind they have on there. Unless they are not original to the bike.

No idea, but it's a red band Bendix hub. So that should be right.
