Ok I picked up an old beach cruiser with a Tange Switchblade fork on it. Like anything it's coming off and I'm replacing it with the correct fork. Are the Tange Switchblade forks any good or worth anything.?

They are cool looking forks, but the ride is pretty harsh due to the straight legs. They sell pretty easily on Ebay at $150 to 180

Consider trading for some Tange MX1200 26" forks with 61/2" steer tube.
Or PM me with what you might have in mind..

I dont' have anything of interest and really don't need them. They would be one of those parts though to build a bike around.

I have bought sold these for $100 in great shape which is probably a more realistic price point. A copy of the original's Keith Bontrager made, I believe Tange bought the rights to make these from him.

I have a Tange Shockblade elastomer suspension fork of the same era with the same bolted crown design. You can raise or lower the axle-to-crown distance by raising or lowering the legs in the crown...Cool old fork, and good-looking too!
