Hi, This is GERRY D. ( Gerry Dunlava) and this is an old Idea from the 70's (see "Joe kid on a stingray" http://www.joekidonastingray.com) I made this so I could ride my son around , way better than a trailer, or baby carrier ! I used to have a 20" schwinn stingray side hack, that I got from my friends Jay Strawn and Randy Ward. It was cool, I used to use it for my paper route and I would make my little brother Tim Dunlava(TIMMY D. aka MR.MEAN F@#K) ride as the monkey, That is the rider on the hack! Anyway, I wanted to build one practical for my son, JAMISON THRASHER LEE DUNLAVA, so I used a 26" frame , welded it up and "BAM" side-hack rat taxi ! GERRY D. FLAT BLACK KUSTOMS

Thank you so much, Im planning to make a 20" bmx hack soon, Maybe 24"but either way...FUN,FUN,FUN ! I will probably still be the one pedaling though, no one wants to pedal me around! LOL.

Very cool, and just about race ready. Reminds me of the one in this little video at the OC farigrounds 1:37 in, has wood slat flooring

Hey thanks for that link, That bike is pretty nice. It is a 24' schwinn, I have 3 of those frames and I did'nt want to use them because they are kinda hard to find..So I went with a beat up 26" schwinn. Later, GERRY D.

Great bike FBK. That is 100% better than the lame looking baby tent behind a bike...Kelly

Thats way cool I was thinking something along the same lines...but the main difference would be is a fold up so it would be good to haul to swap meets, and you could out run the radio flyers to snag on the parts first. It is on my future project list...I just need a clone!!
