I was finally able to get two matching shorty stems, so now the bars are done. I threw them on last night after my soccer game, and took it for a test drive. That's a Lagunitas IPA in the cup - that worked fine, too, but I'm going to save the cup holder for special occasions. With the speedo in there, the cockpit is finally coming together.
When I got home today, my headlight and my mounts were here. The headlight is crazy cheap - I mean, it's a plastic body, $20, ebay special, but it was the right size, and it came quickly. I did a quick LED retrofit, and put it on the bike.
It's a pretty good fit - the speedo nestles in right behind the light.
I have a bit more finish work to do tomorrow night, and maybe Saturday, to prep for the Shiny Side Up show. Also need to start in on the tail light. I also need to remember to take more pics in the light of day...
