Im going to try that, I mean what can it hurt.
Done some work on the fork tonight.
The end of the plug was where I cut it off, then had to cut about a quarter inch of old weld off to get the legs the same length.
After cutting and rewelding, still have to clean up the welds and finish tweaking the legs some.

Since I have the main stress of the build behind me. Now onto fenders, since this bike didn't have any and my son would kill me if I stole the ones off his ratty schwinn. I'm going to still some off one of my WF girls cruisers, now which set.

Tough choice, either is gonna be tricky to punch louvers into!
Thinking the round fenders but will have to make struts to replace the bent ones

Thanks. Wasn't sure I could do it but, I have learned to just take your time and don't force it. And it turned out good.
Got the fenders I decided to go with off the girls bike. 2 of the 3 braces are in good shape.

Any luck re-imploding those Schwinn parts into something?
Ain't touched it all week, between 10 hour work days and kids ballgames in the evenings
This is either going to be an awesome bike or the worst I have built so far. hit the sprocket with the wire wheel last night to see how it would look brushed and yeah didn't turn out so good.
The coop out ranks the coopster right now.
The only stuff that is not reused is the nails and screws.

Been working on the bike in my mind lol. Was thinking blue frame with brushed fork and rims but since the crank ain't turning out the way I want I think Im going to go with a red oxide frame with everything else being powder coated matte black.
