Hello everyone!
Here is a building thread of my bike i have made for summer Build Off.
I did not finish it back then so i am finishing it now.
Here are the things i have done to it so far.
Guided the shifting cable internally:

Moved the seat mount a few cm further, because in the end it was a bit too short for me. I have also welded higher long nuts and changed the springs to a different shaped ones, because ones i used before were too hard.

Made a new coaster brake tab. The old one had 2mm thickness and the new one has 2,5. It also is a bit longer and better positioned, so it reaches the tab bolt even when the wheel is at the ends of dropouts.

Added a kickstand mount and a kickstand.

I have also bought a new cheap skateboard to make a new extended seat, but now i am thinking of maybe using the bearings in my seat hinge. I believe if the parts won't touch each other they won't scratch, and it means my bike won't rust so fast after i paint it.
I have also figured some paint job idea for it, but that is going to be a surprise for you!

I am working on a new saddle. Almost finished by now.

Here is a skateboard deck before i have sanded and cut it, next to the old one i used. The new board was way lower quality then the old one, so i had to take the sandpaper off.

Here i am making a new tab for the hinge, to lift it higher and add some distance for nylon washers and hubs on the sides. That should prevent from scratching when the parts will be painted. Welded the sides closed :)

Here how the new hinge mount looks now.

I did run few tests already but just did not take any pictures. The springs feel softer then the old ones indeed. I will post the updates on the saddle one of the coming days.

Finished the mount. Now it runs nylon washers and hubs. The seat pan is also done, but after a test i still decided to smoothen the corners a bit more. It feels sweet!

I also chopped sportbike handlebars that i have picked up at LBS second hand parts sale. I like the comfort of them and the look, but they don't really fit that bike unfortunately. They look awesome on this one upside down, but then they don't clear the frame. And also they are a bit flexy, so i might end up shortening them and using for some other build.

Construction-wise the bike is done now. Time to choose the right parts and paint it!

Hello everyone!
Worked on a bike yesterday, cut and smoothened the corners of the seat pan, now it has its final form.

Thanks to Luke for his advise, i have indeed welded the crossbar there and it have reduced the shake of the bar ends relative to each other. But because of the shape vertical shake is still there. Anyway, i like the bars the way they are, but still think the shape really does not fit this frame. The lines direction and angles are just different. Planning to extend another set of 346 Indian Moon bars, like ones i had in the build thread of this bike.
So by now the works on the frame of that bike are over, i am happy and satisfied with every dimension and aspect of it. Took that picture and rode it to the garage. Now it rides soo sweet and smooth i am very happy about it.

I actually really like those bars on it, what about if you raised them up at the back a bit to match the angle of the horizontal bar through the frame?
I have tried it before, but sure, i will do it again to show you how it looks. On the picture two comments before that you can see it on more horizontal angle. And on the pics from build off you can see it with the 346+ bars.
I actually loved the way those bars look flipped, but then they touch the frame on the turns preventing you from steering :D And the cross-bar did not help that at all :) That's another reason i am thinking of some other bike, maybe there will be one with a different frame geometry, allowing me to flip them.

You could still make it work. For instance I have this stem:

Extremely adjustable.
They are available for threaded and non threaded fork and in aluminium or chrome finish. Could be found for 15-20$ I guess. I think if You get the handlebars a few inches more froward it would work.
Wasn't there a Build Off winner greenish bike with similar handlebars???

I have a session at school, so lately i was very busy with school related stuff, and had not much time to pay to my bikes. But some progress is made, and i hope next week i have more time to organize the processes, clean up the garage, and then chances are i would make way more progress on all the builds. Anyway, here is a little progress on that bike:

I have done the extension for the 346 Indian Moon bars, now a couple cm longer then initially, and i love it!

I think i am satisfied with the bike as it is for now, and after some fine sanding of few places with the grinding stone i am going to send it to paint. Then i would have to cover the seat with varnish and wait for it to be done.
Maybe in future i would do something to the wheels, since the spoke color is different now, and i might want them same in future, but we will see how it is going to look when assembled back together in color.

Have some progress on the bike!
Firstly, i have coated the saddle and got parts from the powder coating.

Secondly, got the frame painted. What a beautiful color! Looks even better on the natural light.

And here i have almost finished putting it together. Now i am only waiting for the new chain to arrive, and were good to go. Put those Project 346 cruiser wheelset on it. Planning to make an adapter to run roller brakes on the fork.
