This started life as a Dutch bike. I fitted an electric conversion first, using a 500watt motor in the front wheel and a 16amp/hr battery pack.
Bodywork was all hand made from aluminium using traditional methods.
The style I was after was a 1930's streamliner/art deco bike.

I loved making it!

Does it look like a guy straddling a rocket when you ride it?!

Cool build! If you have time in the next week, shoot a ride vid, I want to see that thing go! :thumbsup:
 
Somehow missed the entire build, gonna have to do some catching up.

That thing really moves along with that electric, throttle activated, motor! Sleek!

One question: Do the cranks turn? It looked like his feet were just resting on the pedals during the ride video. What I mean is, can you pedal this bike as well as use the throttle?
