The Throwback is completed

    painted the spokes yesterday. Today it's the rim's turn. Putting all the straws on the spokes was a little tedious! (There are 48 spokes per rim)

    I think all the painting will be done today and I should be able to start assembling the bike tonight :D

    SO glad someone is making progress on our ol' bike rack. It's been a pleasure watching you dive in and learn. Happy to be the advice column for your first build.

    Like the overall effect.

    Might be need for another stand for your projects judging by this first one.

    It's almost done!! This could be the last in progress pic. I got the lights and rack mounted, chainguard put on, and the last of the painting done. Now I just need to finish the wiring and put the tank and seat on. :p

    Our daughter, Jenna rode it. She has test rode my past two builds, so it was only fair that she was given the opportunity to try out Momma's first build.

    GREAT JOB!! FUNNY THING IS I DID THIS BIKE LAST YEAR AND JUST TRASHED IT LAST MONTH. IT EVEN HAD THE HARD RUBBER WHEELS. YOU DID A SWEEEET JOB ON THAT OLD SCHOOL TANK. PEACE
