The bike is a late 60's Firestone Warrior (I think). Going with native American theme to match the head badge. I am all about being thrifty and finding things that fit the theme for cheap. My son, soon to be 9, will be helping me out!

Flickr is nice and easy to post photo's from once you get the hang of it.
Open the picture you want to share, in the bottom right hand corner will be a little bent arrow, click that, select the "BB Code" button and the size you want (I recommend "Medium 640" for in thread posts but you will want a bigger size for your final pics) and then just copy and paste the code into your thread, just like this:

Looking forward to your build, cool start, always great to see the next generation helping out too!

Luke.

Father son builds are great!
Love that headbadge.

I found this old Carlisle Made in the USA tire and original Carlisle tube at the local bike shop the other day. Something different and will go with my theme! 011 by kevinkanouff, on Flickr

Okay I think i figured out the pictures now lol.
Diggin' the tire and the overall look!

...and keep including that old stock tank in the pictures too! Great vintage background look....reminds me of my days helping my grandpa and uncles on the farm....

Interesting choice for bags,I just used an old ratty pair to upholster a seat. Vintage leather always looks good.

Oh and fyi the picture of the saddlebags is just my inspiration for the ones i will make out of the coat. I hope they look that good! I also hope to incorporate native american bead work to go with the theme.

When you said native American bead work, the first thing that popped in my mind were the tourist belts we used to get at Stuckey's as a kid.

Been pretty busy last week. The kids soccer seasons have ended now though so I did have time for a mock up last night with the right size tire in the front that I will buy later to match the back one. Also decided on the these bars.

Also have a few more parts gathered up

Chain guard, potentially

Headlight from the Deals store for $5. It is a solar yard flood light. Will need a brighter led.

I'm ready to see you convert that to a chainguard!
