Thanks all. Bars pointed at the sky - :) I like them tilted forward- more comfortable for me I guess. Paint is rattle can Duplicolor - thanks. I found the rear brake adaptor on Ebay - they're hard to find. Front adaptors are much easier to find. Really fun build. I actually just sold the bike and it's in transit to California from NC. Maybe the new owner won't point the handlebars to the sky ;)
 
Wow - love it. Of course, I'm also probably the world's biggest Schwinn cantilever fan! :mrgreen:
Although I don't like the ride of the knobbies myself, I sure like the retro look. Nice job!

And yeah, once it hits CA, the bars will most likely get lowered - that seems to be a trend everywhere BUT here...!
