Thanks but I'll be ok the parsonage has a half flight of stairs from the garage to the basement. In the past I've even warmed up frames (and paint) then took them to the garage for painting. Then I brought the frame back in to hang in the basement so the paint could dry.

The cottered crank fit the skip tooth chain wheel but it won't be strong enough without welding it up. I don't want to damage the chain wheel, so I'm going with a standard chain and old cottered crank. I have an idea for a coaster brake mod with one of the newer chinese hubs. That's all I can get over here.
The skip tooth stuff will again wait for a good classic American one piece crank frame. This cottered crank has good patina that matches up pretty well with the frame. I'll try to find another piece of copper or brass and do a backing plate.
