I was not happy with the chrome ape hangers.
So I got some Plasti dip and that did the trick.

Love the checkered work and the plasti-dipped bars.
Just a suggestion, but you may want to consider some different way of doing the V-Rod on the checker. Currently it's kinda hard to read it against the busy background. The opaqueness of it combined with the checks make it feel like you are looking at one of those 3D hidden image posters.
