Got this from a friend. I heard that around 1917 the patent on the truss frame opened up and lots of makers put out their version around 1917-18 and that was about it, a one year explosion of copycats trying to emulate the race successful Iver Johnson truss frame. Then it seems most truss style frames were dropped from the lines shortly thereafter. This one accepts a common crank size. I'm going to put some deep Vs 700s on it laced to Morrow hubs.
This is how I got it

After sandblasting and matte clear powder coat. I got the 28" fork from a friend and he had the bb and headset hardware. I had the crank set and saddle, stem/bars (which are Iver) already.

It's a tall one too. The seat mast is 22"

Kinda like my Iver project . My Mead below . Love these bikes ....

Mocking it up. Need to put a chain on it (it's long - 20" from center of bb to center of rear dropouts) and lube and make some adjustments to the headset and bottom bracket. Think I'm going to try these tiller bars on it.

Well? How does it ride? Very nice bike... I also like the steerhorn bars on it...
Since the frame is so long, you can run them and still have a nice riding
position...:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
