Inspired by the above post here a "moving vintage image". An all time classic from one of my favorite actors and directors Jacques Tati: Jour de fête

I recommend "Traffic" and "Mon Oncle". Most of his movies work without any understanding of french, as Tati mostly used only sound, but no real words!
