On one of those new sale apps I saw these bikes posted a couple weeks ago along with a couple others. I responded today to the ad & he said he'd only get $2 at the scrap yard & didn't even want to spend the gas. The price was FREE but the bikes will need cleaning & that's what I'm going to do. Wanted to build a board tracker for a while! Pretty excited.

Great deal!

I think the brown bike is a 40's Huffman.

LooKS very similar but top tube seems a slight bit smoother. There is a Western Flyer headbadge on this one at least.
Skiptooth sprocket is 26 tooth but I know very little about the bike. Thinking 40s? Possibly very early 50s?

This strange girl banana seat bike came with them too as well as a 71 Huffy but the Huffy is really basic frame (not a rail).

Made overseas. Strange Import but complete.

So Huffman made the frame & just badged as Western Flyer? That helps. Gotta find a tank that fits & a rear fender now.
Thank you guys

Something like this would work I assume but then flip the bars & no rear rack.
I'll hunt down a chaingaurd too. Free, never works for me....lol. always have to spend some $$$.

Look what the cat dragged in! Hey man!

Congrats on the bikes, can't beat those for the price. Maybe a late entry into the MBBO with one?

No way I am going to hemorrhage tons into these. The oldest one is going off to the side of a garage until I can find parts.
The others will probably go away.
I also picked up an early boys Iverson Road Runner I've been piecing together late at night. Losing interest in it though.....lol
