I did a bunch of cleaning. I was planning on painting the wheels to match but after a quick cleaning of the chrome I am having second thoughts. I also changed my mind on the wood and now thinking about pecan stain on birch. I responded to a Facebook marketplace ad yesterday because I saw a white banana seat in a pile of bikes. The seat was junk but I came home with a couple of other bikes.

I got the front and back mixed up for a moment and I was trying to figure out the steering. :D

I have to rethink how to do the front panel. I made it once and realized it is not how I thought it would turn out. I am surprised I made it this far on the woodwork before I started pulling pieces off since I have no real plans for it.

It’s time to stain and then put it together. I made it 2 inches shorter by mistake. Probably should have made a bigger mistake.

I was thinking you were gonna have the framing show on the exterior kinda like an old woody wagon.

Framing is going on both sides. I am going to stain it before I put it on.

Still a little tacky this morning so I will let it sit and focus on getting the natural stain on the pine. I couldn’t resist the urge to set the piece in to see all the colors together.

Looking good. The lighter framing really sets it off.
