I live in Sonora California, about an hour north of Yosemite. I went riding around in the valley with the family.

I'm very lucky to live so close. We try to get there at least once a year. My wife and I had our honeymoon there (years ago) and it snowed about 4 feet overnight. We had to stay an extra night. Which was fine with us. Each time I visit I end up not wanting to leave.

I used to live in Sonora, and Angels camp, I met my wife in Yosemite, I was working there as a maid and she was manager at the Ahwahnee hotel gift shop but that was sheesh back 17 years ago... ahh I haven't been back to the valley in years I need to do it again, sounds like it time for a road trip this summer....

BTW the fat mongoose looks good with the falls in the background!

love the drive to yosemite.always stop and eat at PJ's in groveland and really like driving the old priest grade.have a friend in catheys valley.
