    What have you been riding lately?

    Brisbane Show Holiday Wednesday today. This morning Mrs BDC had a her first ride on her Electra Cherie in years - she's had a bad knee. Happy days. Me and dawg tagged along. This afternoon I did 20km around the Bayside on the BR.

    I'm pretty much the same - only what I need for work - but you don't have to have a FB account to see the page - it's public - and hasn't been updated since Sept 21. Makes sense not to draw traffic away from the money earner too.

    Nice winter's day in Brisbane (21c) so I took 'The Boss' down to the Bayside for a ride along the beach. Literally. Low tide is fun on this bike. Stopped out at the point and had a snack and a drink. The frame bag has a puncture kit, pump and a few tools in case of oysters. But it was...

    Interestingly, the gold anno finish on the chain rollers lasted under 2 days. I didn't expect it to last forever - but 2 rides is a bit sad.

    Nice - Unfortunately I tided up my parts boxes in the garage on the weekend - I have about 8 sets of replaced pedals in stock. Not including the better pair I put on the Ripper. I cannot justify buying any more till I build some new bikes. Besides - pedal size isn't the issue - it's shoooo size :)

    Yup - It's very nice too. I ran some Thickslicks on the ripper for a few days after the stock tyre failed - before I got the Maxxis.

    Yep - they are comfy - The only down side / issue is that if you have size 13s like me is that that can catch your toes slightly on the tyre on a hard lock, slow turn. The Big Ripper is not too bad - mild. I have to ride around it on the STR. It also depends on where you put your foot on the...
