If using the crossbar, what if you did a number plate with the mesh screen technique you used on your last build. However, instead of the rising sun design, you did teeth like open jaws (or flames for that matter).
Alright, I'm back.
Finally got the tire mounted for a test run of the zoetrope. It works, but my phone doesn't have a fast enough shutterspeed to showcase it. My wife suggested recording it with the slo-mo function, so I'll try that later this evening. Meanwhile, here is the first test run:
Alright. Both sides have a matching completion, so I am going to hold off adding any more flourishes until I've had a chance to mount it and spin it.
I almost pulled off the spacing uniformly on both sides, but goofed on 1 spot. However, in keeping with the theme (though unintentionally)...
Added some gold. Only adding one detail at a time (completely) so I can see it all together to make sure I don't overdo it.

I had grand plans to do a zoetrope graphic on the hubcaps of my last build. Plans and aesthetic shifted on that build, so I didn't end up doing it.
