    Looking for 24" wheel

I'm working on turning my Columbia Speedliner into a 60s style chopper bike, I'm looking to do a 26 inch rear wheel with a 24 front, I'm probably going to have to pick up an adjustable triple tree to get it to sit right. So I was really looking for chrome to make it look right.

    20 Incher

Where did you get the offset manifold? I tried putting a motor on my eliminator and I didn't have enough room to put the carb on.

    Looking for Cheap Ape hangers

Hey guys, I'm looking for a decent set of ape hangers for my build, they don't have to be perfect, I'm not sure if I am going to paint them or not. All depends on how the build goes.

    Looking for 24" wheel

Hi guys, I'm looking for a 24" chrome front wheel, that will fit a 2.125 tire. I'd prefer a disc brake wheel but I wouldn't turn down a regular 24" wheel either.

Vintage Columbia beach cruiser to muscle bike build

I haven't had a chance to do anything between work in the weather, but I was thinking about it this morning, when Murray built the eliminators they used a 20-inch fork in the front to level the bike out. So I think you guys are right with the 24-inch fork. Do you think this will work? I've never...

Vintage Columbia beach cruiser to muscle bike build

My idea is to build something in this style. The rear wheel is a 24 and the front is a 20.

Vintage Columbia beach cruiser to muscle bike build

Hey guys sorted money problems have kept me from building a bike for a while but I'm finally back. This all started with one of those cheap e Chinese motorized bike motor kits. It wouldn't fit on The Eliminator frame I tried to put it on. So I remembered I have the Columbia speedliner frame in...

Question about comparing old internal hubs

Thanks Silver king I like those, are the ratios pretty decent to ride? LukeTheJoker, The reason why I want an old hub is the bike looks really period correct with pie crusts, peaked fenders, the original light, seat, rat trap, and an old bell. So I want a shifter that looks old too, so it...

Question about comparing old internal hubs

Yes he rebuilt it, and I know he must have cuz everything had grease residue on it, and now the brakes actually engage... He's an older guy, so I figured he'd be a good choice to go to. But when I picked it up he said that's a very unique hub, I've never seen anything like it before.

Question about comparing old internal hubs

I put the wheels back on today and i have to say the brakes are much better I can actually skid the rear wheel, but it's like a half a turn to lock it up. But when i was riding it the rear wheel was squeeking when I push the on the pedal to go faster but was silent when coasting. Also I was...

Question about comparing old internal hubs

The Nexus does look like a very nice hub, but I was hoping to keep everything looking old on the bike. Plus aren't they wider than the older hubs? I know on some of the old muscle bikes guys have to spread the rear of the bike to get them in.

Question about comparing old internal hubs

I dropped the wheel set off of my 55 Columbia Speedliner at the bike shop to have the spokes tightened and the rear hub cleaned and greased. Well he said he couldn't tighten most of the spokes because they were seized and only charged me $35 for the work on the hubs. Now I'm looking at...

    55 Columbia Speedliner

The paint is the least of my worries actually.... I used to work in a restoration shop and I used to prep and paint small things on show cars so I can lay a pretty nice coat of paint on this bike. Handle bars are fairly cheap on eBay. The bike shop says they wI'll take it apart and see what they...
