I hear you on the kick back and no cablesj. My Schwinn Flat Lander was a 10speed and I laced a coaster brake on that rim. I have a new kickback for it but I found a three speed coaster brake that I’ll lace on instead. I’ll place the shifter on the frame instead of the bars.

Thanks José for starting this thread. I wished I could have made the other rides in New England but it's hard to do them all. I hope to go to Simsbury next year, I'd like to go to all of those places. Looking forward to 2014 rides. Pete
