    Cranbrook E-Bike

I went and got a frame that already had a 135mm rear spread... And it already had a freewheel and v brakes too... Working on the "e" portion of the ebike now...

    Cranbrook E-Bike

The Cranbrook has a 110mm rear hub width. Is there any wheel with a cassette that would fit into that tiny space? Alas, everything I've seen is for a 130mm hub width... So far the thought is to drop in a TSDZ2 mid drive into the bb with eccentric adapters, and put on a front springer with disc...

    Vintage Schwinn Beach Cruiser

    Black '63 Typhoon build / suggestions ?!

I think it mostly depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you are just building a rider, you could get a Cranbrook for parts and swap out the necessary bits. If you are building it as a restore, get restoration parts and build it up nice. If you are building cheap, well, reuse as much as...

    Vintage Schwinn Beach Cruiser

So I built up the first wheel (using Sheldon Brown's info). The first thing I noticed is that the old Schwinn lacing pattern is totally different than what they do today. I like the newer patterns better. The first two crosses, this spoke will pass outside of the trailing spokes, but for the...
