A few parts options for the polished frame

@kingfish254 here are pics of the tires on 34mm (outside) rims. They are smooth but nice and sticky. They are labeled as 26x2.5 65psi.

Sorry for the delay! I’m trying to stay away from forums with for sale sections (I’m addicted to bikes/parts) I’ll post pics in a few hours. The tires are great and would look sick on some rat builds!!

I have 2 of these bikes. This one will be yellow until I change it to black and do a 1990 pro series build. The other one I stripped the paint and need to wet sand and polish for a 1996 style build. I’ll add more pics when they are done!

These tires are HUGE! 26x2.4 your local GT dealer should be able to order them for you.

That’s what I liked most about this one! The geometry feels really good too.

Picked up one of these and Im loving it so far. I changed a few parts and will change some more to make it custom. The frame is 6061 aluminum and ill most likely strip the paint and polish it.

I’ve got this 96? GT frameset. Has a few small scratches and some rust but would clean/polish up really well. Stickers look good from 5ft away, any closer and you can see the cracking from heat/age. Handle bars have the most rust and a tiny ding in cross bar. Seat guts are for the 9mm dropnose...

Are the previously used or new? Clean the pads and lightly scuff the braking surfaces. That is if there is still pads inside? Also use a linear brake cable housing, they are a lot stiffer and not spongey like a coiled housing. Maybe play with different pull levers too.
