I'm reviving this old thread as I'm working on repairing my Kiddo's bike that has a SRAM I-Motion 3 hub. When I opened it up I found a broken pawl spring and a broken pawl which was affecting 3rd gear. I don't have the money to get him a new bike and am having NO luck in finding parts. edit...

My wife has one...it's a terrific bike... I got her the single speed version though.

Vee 8's can be great tires....they're awesome for the application I use them for...I've got a set on my Origin8 Crawler and ride a 50/50 mix on either asphalt or sand...I air them up to 25psi on road/hardpack and down to 12-15 on the deep sugar sand we have here and they're great.

Those tires are HEAVY.....I found the specs for them on Duro (or I think it was Duro's) website....IIRC they are twice the weight of the OR8 Captiv8tor UL

on a 50mm wide wheel maybe....as long as they're not wider than 3.6" fully assembled and inflated.

just get some evaporust......it works great, 24 hr soak will have that chain in prefectly clean metal....rinse with fresh water then apply a corrosion inhibitor immediately after rinsing/drying to prevent it from flash rusting.

I'm into it for about 550 right now....figured I'd learn how to tune/build a bike with this frame then when I come across a better frame move all my stuff over to it and sell this one as scrap here or something.
