Covered my tomatoes last night, Did not see frost this AM but we were close!

And here I am just happy that it's getting down below 70 at night and I can open the windows

We got down to around 40f here this morning and my 5,000ft MSL garden is loving it.

We got down to around 40f here this morning and my 5,000ft MSL garden is loving it.

It got into the 20sF in parts of Baraga and Iron Counties. I turned on the heat last night. I turned it off at 10AM.

I saw there was frost on the trail near here this morning, with warnings the boardwalk was slippery. Luckily I'm not up early enough to see it. Retirement has it's advantages. ;-)

I'm taking the pup for a walk there in soon but it turned into a beautiful afternoon with nice warm sun, so I think we'll be safe.
