PROJECT QUICK CHANGE - SUBJECT: Schwinn Dixie (Custom 1950s Schwinn DX Bare Metal Bike)

After the brief debacle of trying to convert this 1950/1951 Schwinn DX frame into a muscle bike for the 2020-2021 Muscle Bike Build Off, I’ve decided to go back to building this Schwinn as a good old-fashioned cruiser. I’ve got most if not all the parts I need to make it happen, it’s just a...

Why am I getting a "Your connection is not secure" message when I come to the site now?

This started last night, and another member who's also on the CABE asked me about the same problem this morning. I just went to the same link as always, but unless I remove the "s" from "https," I can't go onto the site, and even then I still get a "not secure" message. Any idea what's up?

https://littlerock.craigslist.org/zip/d/sweet-home-hiawatha-bike-in-good/7276473450.html I don't know if it's a scam or not, but since this is too far of a drive for me to get myself, especially when the roads are this bad, I'm hoping someone in or near Little Rock might be able to give this...

3 identical 24" wheels (POSSIBLE TRADE)

I'm looking for 3 identical 24" wheels, or at least a matching front and rear coaster brake plus one mismatched front. They need to fit two 2.125" wide tires and one 1.75"wide tire, but most importantly, they need to be in good enough shape to disassemble so I can sandblast and powder coat the...

The Old West (Late 1950s/Early 1960s AMF-built Western Flyer Sonic Flyer)

Okay, I'm finally getting around to creating build threads for all my bikes. Took longer than it should've, but hey, better late than never. Okay, this bike is either a late 1950s or early 1960s AMF-built Western Flyer Sonic Flyer I got as a gift from my Grandpa on my mom's side back in summer...

Looking for a pair of 24" x 2.125" tires, preferably black with no white walls, but I'm open to all options. None of the local bike shops have any in stock right now, and while I've seen a few different options on eBay and Amazon, I've grown a bit more... skeptical of buying from either site...
