Sorry to disappoint you guys, but I snagged these yesterday about an hour after they were listed. Who knows, they might end up in the build-off yet.

Am I about to bend the rules to far?

Well now I've shipped a few around the globe in the past. It may not be as much as you think! It's obviously more than in the US but sometimes it has suprised me. :)

Am I about to bend the rules to far?

BTW (just for the record), it's seems to me that if you have the option to unbolt something and bolt something else back in it's place, it's fair game. Not much different than bolting on extended dropouts except that you have an extra option with that particular frame. JMO:)

Am I about to bend the rules to far?

In the end it's your bike regardless of the build-off. My opinion is that you should build what makes you happy within the confines of your own skills and resources. If it is determined that you should compete in one class or another should not stymie your creative vison. Have fun!

You might could just add another BB where you want it and keep the original BB shell in place. Then get creative with the space with a small round name plate or maybe something like a James Bond retractable tire slasher.:D Maybe. Maybe not.

The stance is awesome! Every one of your slammed bikes have a great rat rod attitude! I couldn't resist trying your tank in a different position to to satisfy my curiosity. I really like it the way you have it so don't misread my intentions, just wanted to see an idea that popped into my head.

@furyus that is so awesome! Much respect. So how did he get the gig with USPS? Was it through a larger firm or was he independent?
