Show me your older 26" mtb, turned modern day gravel grinder.

Thanks! If the weather forecast holds, the purple ring will happen in a day or two. I might have to bring a bucket of warm water to the back yard workshop, though, to keep me fingers from freezing.

    What's your "go-to" bike?

As in "Not a Harley. But pretty much the same thing, only far more dependable, and probably much cheaper as well"? ;) :)

    What's your "go-to" bike?

My winter got-to this year will most likely be a rebuild of this MIT framekit (no-name, but reasonably light, and rides nice) with as many parts from the stash as possible: So far I'm thinking blue rims, blue BMX stem, moto or BMX cruiser bars, front rack or clickfix+waterproof bag, either...

    What's your "go-to" bike?

My go-to is my Wheeler 9800. It's such a blast to ride! It will be going in the attic for storage soon, though, as the city uses a lot of road salt during the winter. And steel frames no likey salt...

    1995 Sunn Vertik 2

Less than what I got for the one I recently sold ;). I paid Dkr. 500,- (a little less than $80,-) for it, which around my parts is on the low end of fair pricing, especially since it's in vg+ condition.

    1995 Sunn Vertik 2

The steering felt a bit weird with the 155mm. stem. So when this 120mm. Ringlé I'd been watching for a few weeks came down to a reasonable price, I decided to grab it. The closest to a side-view I've got of it yet I think this pic from last night's shake-down ride turned out pretty cool

What have you been riding lately?

I spent the weekend at my summer house, so yesterday it was the summer house cruiser. First to the nearby port for one of the fishmonger's awesome fishcakes Then to "my" beach for some solitary relaxy-time

    Mountain bikes

I missed yesterday's retro mtb group ride because I needed to sleep in. But I met up with some of the guys after for a few beers and a chat, and to check out their rides: Then I went to a proper rock concert for the first time in over 1½ year :D

What have you been riding lately?

I rode my Sunn out to my sister's place to babysit my niece Friday night. My fave part of that ride is this place is only a small detour:

What have you been riding lately?

Copenhagen is hosting WorldPride. So my Sunday ride went through a city clad in rainbow colours. The city hall square almost felt like things were back to normal: The Royal Theatre: A sign I came across on the way home: I also got a couple of new pins for my jackets. One of the...

    How often do you ride?

In Copenhagen, during rush-hour biking is by far the quickest option: Carry bike downstairs, ride to work, park in locked bike room at work - 20 minutes max (if get hit by the Red Wave). Compared to taking the bus: Walk to bus stop, wait for bus, ride bus, walk the rest of the way - Up to 40...

    How often do you ride?

I ride my bike to work every day (5km. each way). Mostly because it's a lot quicker than driving or taking the bus But also because along with having a fairly active job as a kindergarten pedagogue, it keeps me in decent shape. When it's not raining, I like to go for a pre dinner ride as well...

    1995 Sunn Vertik 2

But the bar height has me hurting in a lot of ways - like back, shoulders, and a tension headache. So it won't be staying on.
