    Same bike as last year, a ‘58 Higgins frame and rims. This project never got off the ground last year, so I will attempt to get it built this year. Sadly it was my first DNF since joining the forum. I’m keeping the plan: tough and slick, like a 50s hoodlum.

    Build-Off Bike Names: Pop Culture References

    For the past few build offs I've been naming my bikes after lyrics from songs that were released the same year as the bike. This year's "(MY) HOODLUM FRIEND" is from the Coaster's "Yakety Yak" Last year's build, "I Can't Afford the Gas" was from Eddie Cochran's "Something' Else."
