I’ve been so busy with the first few weeks of school, I forgot about this. Haha If I had built the bike I built in my first build off (The 76er) for this one, I would have been a contender, but I just HAD to build a pretty bike.

Thanks, it’s sad that Sears is gone.

I’m betting my kids will fight for it to stay in the family, I have one driver now and about to have 2.

It’s a nice riding bike, but paint is pretty beat. I love it but have had it listed for sale over a year with only 1 super lowball offer. The tall black Ross with green grips is for sale as well as the grey one with padset. No offers on either.

Yep, most dependable vehicle I own. I’ve been working on the 1947 Chevy some today, once I have it running and right I worry about the fate of the S-10

Here’s to hoping! Haha maybe I should take a photo of the rust on the seat post or the rust in the stem bolt.

The stance on this bike with the knobby tires is amazing. It reminds me of an old Rockon 2x2 or old military off-road bike. Looks great.

    Almost safe

What a great blend of parts. Love it.

Thanks. After a few years building for this build-off I just started using the competition as motivation to build more than a desire to compete.

Thank you. Last year I sold my build-off bike because I wasn’t thrilled with it, but this one, I know is staying in the collection.

Thank you. I’ve built both, but I’d rather ride than just look at it, no matter how cool it looks… Exhibit A:

Geometry on that bike is sweet. The small frame makes it look like a trials bike.

Thanks to @kingfish254 for the Sprocket and Hubs name.

Just checked my route (I have an app where you can draw your route after a ride instead of relying on live GPS data) and I rode over 10 miles this morning.

There’s nothing else I can do with this bike but ride it, and I just rode it all over town and I love this thing, and I hope you do too. This bike started life as a Jamis Explorer 5 speed and I went in a late 80s early 90s BMX direction with it. The bike is dialed and I love it.
