    Jinxed

I finally decided on the name Jinxed because this old bike fought me the whole way. I wanted to give it a few more dents, but no dents were removed during this build. So if dents build character this 1936 Shelby has a plenty of character. I was unable to complete my original mission to make the...

    Monark springer

I bought a girls Monark springer for my SK hex tube. Are the two springs larger on a boys bike than on a girls bike? I've found in the past that there are a lot of differences between a girls and a boys bike. This is an original springer, not the reproductions. Thanks, Kenny

Murray Klunker is now a 58 Huffman Klunker

This is the bike that got me started playing with bikes again. I built it originally as a beach cruiser, then moved all the parts over to a painted Spaceliner frame. The old Murray frame went back into the shed. Built again with junk parts. Then I decided I wanted to build a Klunker. Picked...

    Tire slipping on rim

Hi guys, I've got an issue with my vintage Carlisle Dart tire. I mounted it yesterday after cleaning it with tire shine. I figured it was the oily tire shine causing the tire to slip on the rim. I removed the tire, cleaned the bead, then skuffed the bead with sandpaper to remove any glaze on the...
