Slingshot stem - How to stop bars slipping?

Hiy'all - Anyone got any tricks or tips? I don't have any bars that 'officially' fit - but then we don't take too kindly to officially round hereabouts anyways. I know you can buy a knurling tool but they're not in my budget for a one-off. Although now that I'm typing this all out , maybe I...

    2nd 2nd chance build off

I had a look over the older build-offs and saw one titled '2nd chance build off'. I really want to finish my last build off bike - I got parts gathered and painted rims laced wheels and that was it, I couldn't get the weather to cooperate whenever I had time to paint the frame. Anyone...

    Pinkie Pie (little) girls cruiser

Sooooo, I had to take a long break from building after a year of family tragedies… I got this 20" wheel czechoslovakian kids bike about a year ago from a local recycling centre. It looked dirty and rusty but recoverable… actually it cleaned up pretty easily! This is for my girlfriends...

    cafe cruiser birthday gift

I think you can all see where this is going... 8) In the image I've already replaced the stock pos parts with the alloy Araya 'dimple' rims I'll use, the awesome 'cafe racer' style seat that I'll strip and recover, cruiser bars and slingshot/wishbone stem. We don't get many curvy bar frames...

I hail from Canberra, it's a little town of about 400,000, but I do see some awesome bikes around. A couple of...
