So with those original springers - I've seen quite a few builds on this site with them mounted backwards and I actually thought they must have been a different version or non-schwinn springer. I like the look and I have this type of springer waiting to use on a build - are there any drawbacks...

Sooooo, I had to take a long break from building after a year of family tragedies… :cry: I got this 20" wheel czechoslovakian kids bike about a year ago from a local recycling centre. It looked dirty and rusty but recoverable… actually it cleaned up pretty easily! This is for my girlfriends...

I think you can all see where this is going... 8) In the image I've already replaced the stock pos parts with the alloy Araya 'dimple' rims I'll use, the awesome 'cafe racer' style seat that I'll strip and recover, cruiser bars and slingshot/wishbone stem. We don't get many curvy bar frames...
