    Nice rescue! Good eye! Looks like how the majority of my bikes looked when I discovered them. PB is wonderful stuff eh? Keep the natural aged patina and at most...a clear satin urethane finish over the mildly "burnished" natural oxidation. The tank is as I put it..."WAY COOL"....new old rims...

    Looks like a early possibly pre 1940 frame. maybe a Cleveland Welding Company CWC frame. They made frames for several companies. Usually rear slide-outs indicate pre WWII . By mid forties most were designed with slide-outs facing towards the crank-housing instead of away from it as indicated...

    They have an original brochure and manual for this bike at the AuburnCordDuesenberg Museum in Auburn, Indiana for $16.95 . In the gift shop book store. saw it a few days ago. photo coming up
