    Good points and good info, I didn’t think about the brakes. I’ve got a couple old mountain bikes I’ll see if they’ll fit and then look for some wheels that aren’t black.     I'm Rob from Kansas I have a Hawthorne that was my grandmothers on display in my garage and just picked up a men's hawthorne with twin top tubes and no other bar it also had truss rods, I'm trying to figure out about what year it is. Any ideas? Also how can I post a pic of it?
