Thanks! I had it sitting in my yard for about a year. It’s technically a mid 50’s Dayton Huffman. The bike rides perfectly; the seat is a little low. I’m going to try to raise up so it doesn’t smoke your quads in a mile!

Agreed; the rear derailleur is a super nice touch on a classic frame. Great build. -ride up and down the canals looking for bass! (And maybe a few gators!)

Sometimes I hold those brooks saddles in my hand and I think they are so big, they’ll ‘take over the bike’ Not in this case. -saddle looks awesome and you get the comfort !! Super cool build

I slapped the rest of the thing together: I did my best to true the wheels…. They’re close, but far from perfect. The kickstand is WAY short…. Gonna have to find a block or something…. I don’t care to scramble for a rusty kickstand. Maybe test ride next weekend.

So…. Dag-gone! You’d think bolting some old rusty parts together would be a snap! NOT!!!! Wow…. Super tough to get the rear wheel, chain and chain ring straight! -as I’m super happy to keep the original chainring, that thing was CROOKED…. Lot of dinging and clanging trying to get that thing...
