    Desert Rat M1

    - that's a very big grey area if you're worried about laws. - also, a normal bike chain is smaller/thinner than the drive side of a 2 or 4stroke. which will be your weakest point in the drive train (other than the bearings already mentioned). - to really optimize a gear set, you'd probably want...

Can an axel mount be bent back into shape? (steel) (walmart bike)

do we have a good article on how to adjust the derailleur? this part can be tricky if you're not sure what's what. there are usually adjustment points once you get it in place and cable set (tight).

    Seabee Tribute (Future) Project

i got some good stuff for ya. scanning it in now. i have some stuff that was my great-uncle jack's (who was in the seabee's in WWII) here's some more inspiration. a roughly 8" canvas painting a roughly 7" painted wood carving and a pillow cover. i can send you larger scans or make files...

    Royce Union Skylark Cruiser

your paint fits that era. EVERYTHING was paint bombed all the same. even though it's a simple job, it's truer to the original than most of the military themed bikes, cars, etc i've seen. if you want to age the stencils, take some fine sandpaper or emory paper & knock some of the white paint...

    Desert Rat M1

nice. i've seen a lot of disc gas builds and usually the disc is behind the sprocket (using a much larger disc for the brake). there are some sprockets that are made with an offset to mount both the gear and the disc on the disc mounting flange on the hub. then you use an extended caliper...

    Desert Rat M1

that's more than i thought you'd have. you could probably get a plug wire to fit, even if not what came with the kit. relocate brake cable if needed.

Have rims that can take a 1.75 tire. Can they take larger?

1.75 & 2.125 are interchangeable. (anything wider... not sure, no experience) but back in my BMX days, i ALWAYS preferred 1.75 over 2.125 to me, the fatter tires always felt sloppy, even when properly inflated. but 25+ years later my opinions might have changed.... or my intent changed....

if you're adding a tank.... - add tank - 26" up front - bags off the back now you've got a vintage/new style bagger... lol

    Big F’n Bike!

don't think it's a photoshop trick. look closely for the small details... front fork, seat clamp (not there), etc... a lot of the parts are simplified, tires look like they're made out of corrugated drain pipe. and it's parked in front of the yellow trailer. really well done for a monster size...

    Basement find

love the frame of the Columbia Newsboy Special. ...not a straight bar, not quite a normal cantilever.
