Is this fork backwards? And is the price of the bike worth it?

The lower fork is bent back and the front of that fork that mounts to the top of the spring is backwards. Should be behind the lower fork.

That is the problem.....room. 1:24 is a good scale with lots of good detail. The smaller scales are a niche I haven't got to as an adult. Maybe someday. I had them as a kid in the 60s and early 70s. I had a great collection of Hot Wheels and Matchbox! .... I wish I woulda kept all of those!

    Bottle Opener

Yours looks great Matti!! I had it on a brake bolt but I couldn't get it to look right. Over thought it or something. I angled it to the rake of the headset to make it fit a little better. Curves into the tank a bit.

    Bottle Opener

I was messing around in the garage last night and found an old bottle opener that matched the patina so I explored my mounting options and the tank screw looked the best. Actually works good!

Original Paint: How far is too far gone for old paint?

With old things, I tend to like a little character to show. Shows age. I'd say original paint is never too far gone, especially with bicycles. To each their own I guess. If you keep it original you never need to worry about scuffing it up now and then.

Hey guys! Joined the forum a few days ago and looks like there's some good info here! I stumbled across an old board track creation a while back and decided it needed a good home. It's since inspired me to build my own! I've always loved the beauty of old cars, motorcycles, signs, toys...
