    Italian Roast Espresso

Well despite the excellent suggestion of "rat-ifying" the leather-ish grips, I decided to replace them with some black rubber grips. After ordering and shipping, I found some in my stash. Sigh. I replaced the saddle again with a beat up road saddle (more comfy) and found a bracket to mount a...

    Italian Roast Espresso

After dark update! I added some leather(ish) grips and swapped out the seat for a vintage leather one, and added a bell off another bike. Not sure I like the grips, maybe I should find some rubber grips instead.

    Italian Roast Espresso

Update time! Got a shipment of parts, tubes, seat collar, and chain ring guard. and put on the bike found some pedals I liked in my stash (no really!) and cabled up the brake. Then took it for a test ride! It rides real smooth. I had to tighten everything when I got back. This will share...

I have a set of 27" fixed gear wheels, all I need are tires and tubes.

The first issue is that I had to order an Italian threaded bottom bracket. And at $30 it was 3 times the amount I spent on the frame. I did find in my stash a period looking crankset that I took the outer ring and guard off. The handlebar, stem and front brake all came from my stash as well.

I wasn't planning on entering a build but when I found this Italian frame I was inspired to make a vintage inspired path racer.

    Pope Roger bike build

Oh no! I feel that if it is activated by back pedaling, it is definitely a coaster brake. Now I am trying to figure out how to make something like this, too cool. Good luck on patenting it and keep us updated, if you do a beta test run, there will be a lot of people willing to test it for you...

BO15 PINK PANTHER - Close, but no cigar.

Looking good so far! If you have a Schwinn excercycle, why not use it's wheel cover on your build?

    Pope Roger bike build

Very nice! I have toyed with the idea of having a custom shell machined for some existing coaster brake guts for some ti.e now. I figured that I would make the hib fit mountain bike spacing (135mm?) And that would give me enough space to fit sealed bearings and a cromo axle. Good luck with your...

Show off your Chrome frame bike!

Not a cruiser, but there is chrome under that flaking candy red paint. Abandoned at my work, I replaced the pedals with flats, the pizza cutter tires with the fattest I could fit ( a whole 28mm!), and the drop bars with city bars. I love converting racing bikes to city bikes, real hot rods of...
