    Schwinn exercise bike sprocket

I have one of those gigantic sprockets for Schwinn Exerciser. 61 teeth. A few minor scratches from storage but I don't think it has ever been mounted. If this is posted in the wrong place I apologize. I would like $15 plus shipping. -Steve

    MY MUSSELMAN HUB

The bike is a girls Elgin. I'm still fumbling around when it comes to posting pictures. The same bike is shown by some guy as the sex change bike.

    MY MUSSELMAN HUB

My thoughts as well but the bike was not military. Perhaps it was just a way to use up old wartime parts. I'm thinking of removing all the black finish for a steam punk look.

    MY MUSSELMAN HUB

I've had this old girls Elgin hanging on the wall for over twenty years and I noticed it had one of those old finned Musselman hubs so I took it down, cut it free of the rotten spokes and gave it a cleaning and re-packing. Under the crud I expected chrome or cadmium plate. What I got looks...

    Steve From Raleigh

Have visited the site in a long while. I'm on a ship out of Italy but due to come home in about a month. I started my bike obsession with vintage schwinns and still like them but I really like any bike if its made well and has an interesting quirk. My first goal is to re-wheel one of my...

    VELOSTEEL COASTERBRAKE HUBS

I want to rid myself of a cheap mexican made bendix hub that I've hated for years. Anyone have any experience with the velosteel hubs being used on a standard 26 inch fat tire bike frame? These hubs get a good write up in the fixie web sites. I plan to lace tthe hub to modern alloy rims and...

    MORE BIKES

this is an old girl's Colson I've sent to my favorite niece. Her husband is a motorhead and son of a bike fabricator so I expect a ratacular finish to this bike. This is Big Red. I got her in various pieces over 20 years ago. The paint and assembly is vintage 1988. Not a true restoration...

    ANOTHER STAB AT THIS

MY SPITFIRE In 1990 I was in Navy EOD School and another student had this old rusty Schwinn. When he graduated I asked for the bike and I hauled her home. Had to heat up the frame to get the rusted seatpost out and then I sandblasted the frame, fork and chainguard. My original paint was a...

new pics of the lucky 7 boardtracker

INCREDIBLE This beatiful simplicity of this bike is astounding. Of course there isnoting simple about a seven speed rear hub and hiding a shifter in the tank.

    ANOTHER STAB AT THIS

Red Rusty Flying Star with George Wallace bumper Sticker. No way can I paint this bike. The Blue Bike is my "SuperSport"Schwinn Spitfire. She sports a two speed Bedix lever action rear hub and lightweight Salsa Gordo Rims. I shined up the head badge and think it really looks nice...

HELLO FROM NORFOLK AND NORTH CAROLINA

My name is Steve and I'm a bikaholic. I grew up in Imperial Beach California and saw some of my earliest Rat bikes back in the early sixties. Our neighbors had one of those flipped over frame high risers. Later in the 70's some dudes in highschool were "SuperSporting" old 26 inch...
