Stuck gooseneck in vintage huffy tandem

I am repairing a first generation huffy built tandem (the curvy frame style) and the gooseneck for the rear handlebars is stuck. The bolt sheared when I put my socket on it, leaving the wedge behind. I poured Kroil down the bolt hole and let it soak for a day; no change. I applied a torch to the...

    Men’s cruiser frame

I acquired this frame in a collection, I suspect it is European due to the tiny bottom bracket (less than two inches in diameter). Ignore the seat post and handlebar, I put those on for a mock up. Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

    Name that lady’s frame!

Picked this up for the bendix wheel set that was on it. From far away I thought huffy built Monark, but upon closer inspection looks European, like a Ross. Thoughts?

    my first hand cycle

This neglected pile came up on CL for 2 Jacksons, so I decided I need yet another obscure project taking up space in the garage. :) The manufacturer is named "Top End". The neck is broken so will require a welding project. These special need trikes are incredibly expensive new (the 2020...

    Huffy Tandem chainguards- interchangeable?

Hi- I have a 1950s Huffy Tandem (the curvy frame style) needing a chainguard. I see many 1970s Huffy tandems (straight tube frames) availlable; are the mounting points the same between the 2 styles?

Sunday morning acquired this Worksman tank err, I mean cargo trike. 2 Jacksons. Tubeless tires, this thing is heavy. Someone bolted a kiddie bike seat to the lid of the storage box to tote their aspiring monarch around town. Then in the afternoon, spotted these on Craigslist: Murray built...

modern wide rear bike frame ?

I picked up this bike project from a storage locker sale. It is a modern cruiser frame, that looks to be aluminum. The rear wheel well is extra wide, able to easily handle a 26", 3"+ inch wide tire. I could use another one for another project, but would like to know what make/model to ask for...

This was on craig's list for a while, but it was 2 hours away so I never was too serious about it, plus it was one of those "make an offer" posts which I avoid. but for kicks and grins, I called about it, and it turns out the seller was passing by my town today, and my offer was close to what...

Unwritten rules for thrift stores selling bikes

(at least in my county): 1) You must always have a boy's Spiderman bike in stock at any given time. 2) completely ignore the fact that tires are falling off the wheels; the chain is rusted and won't turn, and the hand brakes don't stop the bike. 3) use online prices to determine your own...
