After mounting the demon eye headlight, i started looking through my light stuff to see what kinda tail light I might be able to use.

First I found a pair of these.

But then I saw this Iron Cross light that I forgot I had. It needs cleanup and a redo on the internals, but it's perfect.

Is that a Lucas headlight?
The taillight is a great match for the bike!

No a bike guy in Northern Cali made this one. I actually scored it on the CABE.
There are few people around the US that are making similar lights.

At first I thought this tail light was plastic chrome with black paint on it. Once I started cleaning it I realized that the plastic chrome was coming off and it was black plastic underneath. No worries, I just need to locate the Liquid Chrome pen that I bought earlier and misplaced in my office move.

I'm not sure if I can salvage the AAA battery case contacts. Where can you buy these things now that RadioShacks don't exist? I have a few AA, but no AAA cases.

I used my trusty shiny tape to mock the tailight in an approximate location. I like the looks of it here. I have the rear rack frame hole that will make it easy to make aluminum bracket to attach too.

Here are the full pics with the demon eye headlight installed and the iron cross taillight mocked up.

This light has three modes to it. Blue Demon Eye White Center and Blue Demon Eye White Center with the white flashing. Then Blue Demon Eye Red Center.

Here is the the White center which is super bright. I didn't feel like taking a video of the flashing mode.

How many cells are in that case? AA and AAA are the same voltage and, provided there is space, can substitute for each other. I have a quick and easy source for a three-cell (4.5v) holder, but that may not be what you need.

I grab these little flashlights from Walmart that contain a three-cell AAA holder. They only cost me about $1 apiece, and they even include the batteries.

Thanks man, but this (2)AAA case goes inside of the light and it's a tight tolerance. No chance of getting any other size or type batteries in there that are any bigger than 2 AAA side by side.

Bummer. Short of ordering from a place like Mouser or Digi-Key, you're probably stuck making repairs to what you have. Can the contacts from one of your AA cases be used? I would think they could be--it's a simple circuit.
