Been looking for a heirloom project for my 3 year old and 5 year old. They enjoy bikes and wrenching, ride motorcycles. I wanted to create something nice for me to store away for their kids when they’ve outgrown them. So I found the 12” and 16” frames online and matching springer forks. I wanna do a subscription type thing with them, where each month is a piece comes in after deciding colors, styles etc. then we install them all together and by spring hopefully three fresh bikes! (Dad needs a new one too!) lol. Probably going to stick to basic bolt ons, some personalized work. The options are limitless with Lowrider accessories and my daughter is selecting every one, lol. First pieces for my sons came in today from streetlowrider.com. Got a couple of other projects in mind for the near future including a motorized Electra 20” army trike and some quirky stuff. They actually make trike kits for these as well, so who knows!
