I normally don't build these kinds of bikes, but a friend of mine gave me this frame and parts. I think it's going to turn out to be a pretty killer rat-rod cruiser.

1941 Colson Cruiser
2.5 Maxxis Hook Worm
Bendix 2 speed kickback hub
Going all Skip Tooth
Brooks saddle?

I've been looking around and I think i'm going with the inverted taped bars. Possibly a springer fork (Any suggestions?)

Also looking for 1 piece cranks that will work with 9/16 pedals. I have a weird feeling they don't exist.

Just going simple.

IMHO, a springer fork does not mesh with those beefy hookworms. I like the direction it's headed now. Bars and saddle will be the make or break

I appreciate your input. Thank you. Might go with one of the newer Brooks C17. What are your thoughts? Still working on the bars, but probably inverted. I really want to go simple and sleek, maybe in the simple Harley direction if that makes any sense. No paint job, just keeping it like this. Also going with a Bendix 2 speed rear hub.
