More fettling…..

brakes today…. Front brakes seem ok for 5 miles rolling frame test… can we agree…. Some miles on regular Chicago city streets is like “Off Road”…one time?….. I got two flats from a Chicago Bike-Winter.org style pothole

old MX brakes reach/fit…. Here’s a trick i learnt….peeling off some of the glassy, old pad reveals nice soft stuff underneath!…

The Roadmaster loaned her front deep v for now… it is too floppy for the final but i needed to get it on reliable footing and that’s got a Schwalbe for now…. Let’s see how it does on a shake-down tonight

Sometimes the "Phillips slip" is exacerbated by either the driver or the screw actually being JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard).
