More fettling…..

brakes today…. Front brakes seem ok for 5 miles rolling frame test… can we agree…. Some miles on regular Chicago city streets is like “Off Road”…one time?….. I got two flats from a Chicago Bike-Winter.org style pothole

old MX brakes reach/fit…. Here’s a trick i learnt….peeling off some of the glassy, old pad reveals nice soft stuff underneath!…

Would love to have a rear brake… for skids and such…. But in 1958 that was not as much a priority for this bike… as was a fender….
