is that a factory bike? i don't remember ever seeing one like that. of course i can't remember much from those days anyway...

Only a few makes offered a factory 24/20. Murray, Western Flyer and some others.
Schwinn Sears, Raleigh offered some 20/16s.

yeah i remember the krates... always wanted an orange krate. but i've never seen a 24/20. i like it alot!

Great build! Is that a Corvette? I don’t recall a 24 with a head tube that short...did you shorten the head tube? Is that a socket in there?

I think it was a Typhoon. Yeah, it is a short head tube. It's a 26" fork with extra threads added then a couple of spacers. Works great!
