I am selling this custom bike built around a1968 Schwinn Typhoon Deluxe frame.

This 26" wheel bike is professionally-built in that classic banana seat / ape hanger bar style, but it fits adults and big kids. It's way more comfortable than that 20" version you had as a kid. It even gas one of the motorcycle-sound maker throttle grips on the right side.

This bike was build up from many BRAND NEW PARTS. It was ridden only two times since built.

It's a blast to ride and bring tons of smiles!

Details:
  • Frame has been cleaned and sealed to retain the patina. Original scrapes, chips, spots/discoloration and wear throughout exist and support the rat-rod style
  • Original crank and chainring
  • Includes new water-slide decal set to use if the bike is ever repainted - includes frame, fork, and chainguard decals
  • Shimano Nexus 3-speed coaster brake rear hub
  • Aluminum 26" rims with quick-release front hub
  • New moto "throttle" sound maker on place of right grip. Turn the "throttle" to create dirt bike sounds
  • New Jerald rear slick 26 x 2.126 gives that "drag slick" look
  • New front Felt Quick Brick 26 x 2.125 tire
  • New ape-hanger bars, Banana seat, sissy bar, and chrome mini-fenders
  • New headset, bottom bracket, stem, seatpost, and pedals
  • New front brake and lever
  • New SRAM nickel chain
I am offering this bike, professionally-adjusted and ready to ride, for $285 or best reasonable offer. Riding it will make you smile.

I am located in Delaware (zip code 19707) which is close to both Philadelphia and Baltimore. I prefer to sell this locally as it would be large and heavy to pack and ship (long wheelbase, fenders, etc). However, if shipping is required, I would consider having it packed and shipped at your cost.
