2017 Redline PL26

My Redline PL26,
Favourite bike in my collection.
Have fitted powerlite power bend bars in black, A'me tri grips, repop pad set, black flight cranks, wellgo platforms, Brooks C19, and most importantly black dice caps.

Picked up a pair of Vee speedster tyres, as Redline use on the SQB26, brings nice old school vibes to the PL26

I thought that if Redline use them on the square back, they must be a decent tyre.

Making a few more changes on this one. Polished the seat post, and added chrome 8" bars. Also planning a polished wheelset, and red ano brakes.
Tried on a 29er front wheel this morning, and love the look!
Room front and rear to squeeze them on.

This might become the first PL29 REDLINE?

Pulled some 29" Wiemann X rims from the parts pile, ready to strip the silver ano and polish up.

Looks tuff as F...! great work on the wheels, Been wanting to run with you guys on this wheel lacing caper!
if only another 10-15mm clearance on the front wheel she'd be factory perfect!
would have to be one of the best examples or this model redline in aussie, maybe even southern hemishpere? Nice!

Thanks dude. I've tried so many 26"combos, trying to find the right look. But nothing was doing it for me till the 29s.
The thin skin wall on the 700c's is the key I think.
